Correcting a translation on the page
Any sentence you disagree with, you fix by clicking it on your own site.
Editing in place
Open a translated page while signed in as an editor and switch the editor on. Every translated element becomes clickable; clicking one shows the source text and its translation side by side. Change it, save, and the page updates.
This is the part of WPGlotty that matters most and takes the longest to explain, because it sounds smaller than it is. You are not looking for a string in a list of four thousand. You are looking at your site and pointing at the sentence that is wrong.
A correction is permanent
A translation you edited by hand is marked as human. Later runs, retranslations and model changes never overwrite it. The only thing that changes it is you changing it again.
That is what makes the tone of a site converge. You fix the same phrase once, and it stays fixed.
The strings screen
Everything the editor does can also be done from Translations → Strings, which is the same data as a list: filter by language, by status, by whether a human touched it, and search the source text.
Use the page for tone and the list for sweeps: renaming a product, fixing a term everywhere, finding what is still untranslated.
