Using the WordPress translation plugin, from the zip file to the fifth language.

Getting started
Install WPGlotty and start translating your site.
- Installing the WordPress translation plugin Download WPGlotty, upload it to WordPress, then enter your licence key and account e-mail address.
- Providers and API keys Use your own Claude, DeepL, Gemini, Google Translate or OpenAI API key on a paid plan. Your provider bills you directly.
- Getting a Claude API key Six steps at platform.claude.com. Buy credit before you make the key, or every request is refused.
- Getting a DeepL API key Five steps at deepl.com. The free plan translates half a million characters a month and gives you a key that ends in :fx.
- Getting a Gemini API key Three steps at Google AI Studio. It is free to start, and the paid tier takes one more step.
- Getting a Google Translate API key Seven steps in the Google Cloud console. This takes more set-up than the other four options but costs the least per character.
- Getting an OpenAI API key Six steps at platform.openai.com. Load credit before you make the key, or every request is refused.
- Languages and URLs Choose your languages and set up a separate URL for each one.
- Importing your TranslatePress translations Import your translations and settings from TranslatePress into WPGlotty. The wizard leaves TranslatePress and its data unchanged.
Translating
Translate your site, correct the wording and keep translations up to date as your content changes.
- Translating the site Translate the whole site, then use automatic translation for new text and anything the first run missed.
- Correcting a translation on the page Click a sentence on your own page to check and correct its translation.
- The page panel A small button on your site opens the panel for translators. It shows the current language, how much is translated and who translated it.
- Translating WooCommerce e-mail WPGlotty records the order’s language and uses it for WooCommerce e-mails to the customer. You can preview these e-mails and correct their wording before they are sent.
- Giving a translator access Give translators access to the editor without giving them access to the WordPress dashboard.
- When the source text changes When you change the source text, WPGlotty identifies the affected translations and queues them for an update.
- Glossary, tone of voice and formality Control key terms and choose the tone and form of address for your translations.
- What should never be translated Keep code, names, embeds and other selected content unchanged during translation.
On your site
